Fight Previews

Women’s Strawweight

Elise Reed (-170)

Record: 5-1 (1-1 UFC)

Wins: 2 KO | Losses: 1 KO

Props: Over 2.5 rounds (-349); Wins ITD (+391), by decision (+104), by TKO (+700), by submission (+1200)

Sam Hughes (+142)

Record: 6-4 (1-3 UFC)

Wins: 1 KO, 3 SUB | Losses: 1 KO, 1 SUB

Props: Under 2.5 rounds (+265); Wins ITD (+547), by decision (+239), by TKO (+1400), by submission (+900)

Best Value: Elise Reed (-170)
These odds are still too short for Reed. Hughes is barely hanging on to a UFC spot.

Featherweight

Chase Hooper (+150)

Record: 10-2-1 (2-2 UFC)

Wins: 3 KO, 5 SUB | Losses: 2 DEC

Props: Over 2.5 rounds (-165); Wins ITD (+338), by decision (+360), by TKO (+1000), by submission (+500)

Felipe Colares (-181)

Record: 10-3 (2-3 UFC)

Wins: 2 KO, 5 SUB | Losses: 3 DEC

Props: Under 2.5 rounds (+130); Wins ITD (+229), by decision (+173), by TKO (+600), by submission (+350)

Best Value: Hooper submission (+500)
If you can get these odds, I suggest taking a bite at it. There’s a lot of flaws in Hooper’s game, but as the bigger, longer fighter in this one, I could easily see him catching a funky submission.

Bantamweight

Jonathan Martinez (-227)

Record: 15-4 (6-3 UFC)

Wins: 7 KO, 2 SUB | Losses: 1 KO

Props: Over 2.5 rounds (-230); Wins ITD (+332), by decision (+104), by TKO (+388), by submission (+1000)

Vince Morales (+183)

Record: 11-5 (3-3 UFC)

Wins: 6 KO, 2 SUB | Losses: 1 KO, 2 SUB

Props: Under 2.5 rounds (+180); Wins ITD (+423), by decision (+354), by TKO (+525), by submission (+1500)

Best Value: Martinez ITD (+332)
This is pop and popcorn all the way, but Martinez’s power is always appealing if you’re a bold bettor.

Lightweight

Omar Morales (-152)

Record: 11-2 (3-2 UFC)

Wins: 2 KO, 5 SUB | Losses: 1 SUB

Props: Over 2.5 rounds (+133); Wins ITD (+151), by decision (+310), by TKO (+200), by submission (+550)

Uros Medic (+126)

Record: 7-1 (1-1 UFC)

Wins: 5 KO, 2 SUB | Losses: 1 SUB

Props: Under 2.5 rounds (-163); Wins ITD (+227), by decision (+473), by TKO (+263), by submission (+1300)

Best Value: Uros Medic (+126)
The bigger and more athletic fighter should give Morales fits at times.

Heavyweight

Jailton Almeida (-633)

Record: 15-2 (1-0 UFC)

Wins: 6 KO, 9 SUB | Losses: 1 KO

Props: Over 1.5 rounds (+114); Wins ITD (-200), by decision (+303), by TKO (+288), by submission (-118)

Parker Porter (+442)

Record: 13-6 (3-1 UFC)

Wins: 4 KO, 4 SUB | Losses: 3 KO, 2 SUB

Props: Under 1.5 rounds (-141); Wins ITD (+618), by decision (+1254), by TKO (+1000), by submission (+2300)

Best Value: Parker Porter (+442)
The size and plodding style of Porter could be effective against a light heavyweight.

Middleweight

Joseph Holmes (-196)

Record: 7-2 (0-1 UFC)

Wins: 2 KO, 5 SUB | Losses: 2 DEC

Props: Over 1.5 rounds (-136); Wins ITD (+108), by decision (+338), by TKO (+350), by submission (+215)

Alen Amedovski (+161)

Record: 8-2 (0-2 UFC)

Wins: 8 KO | Losses: 1 KO

Props: Under 1.5 rounds (+108); Wins ITD (+589), by decision (+589), by TKO (+288), by submission (+1600)

Best Value: Holmes ITD (+108)
This fight is tough to predict, but I have a hard time picking an 0-2 UFC fighter who hasn’t fought since 2019.

Middleweight

Eryk Anders (+169)

Record: 14-6 (6-6 UFC)

Wins: 8 KO, 1 SUB | Losses: 1 KO, 1 SUB

Props: Over 2.5 rounds (-207); Wins ITD (+441), by decision (+351), by TKO (+450), by submission (+1900)

Jun Yong Park (-210)

Record: 13-5 (3-2 UFC)

Wins: 5 KO, 3 SUB | Losses: 1 KO, 2 SUB

Props: Under 2.5 rounds (+160); Wins ITD (+259), by decision (+119), by TKO (+390), by submission (+780)

Best Value: Jun Yong Park (-210)
This is still great value for a very technical boxer that should outmatch Anders in a lot of areas in the cage.

Women’s Strawweight

Polyana Viana (+108)

Record: 12-4 (3-3 UFC)

Wins: 4 KO, 8 SUB | Losses: 1 SUB

Props: Over 2.5 rounds (-172); Wins ITD (+262), by decision (+275), by TKO (+833), by submission (+350)

Tabatha Ricci (-131)

Record: 6-1 (1-1 UFC)

Wins: 1 KO, 2 SUB | Losses: 1 KO

Props: Under 2.5 rounds (+134); Wins ITD (+334), by decision (+175), by TKO (+733), by submission (+483)

Best Value: Over 2.5 rounds (-172)
Viana is a finisher, but Ricci is going to hold her own in this fight. I see it going to the scorecards.

Middleweight

Chidi Njokuani (-231)

Record: 21-7 (1-0 UFC)

Wins: 13 KO, 1 SUB | Losses: 3 KO, 3 SUB

Props: Over 2.5 rounds (+155); Wins ITD (+102), by decision (+304), by TKO (+111), by submission (+1100)

Dusko Todorovic (+187)

Record: 11-2 (2-2 UFC)

Wins: 7 KO, 3 SUB | Losses: 1 KO

Props: Under 2.5 rounds (-185); Wins ITD (+400), by decision (+435)

Best Value: Njokuani TKO (+111)
Bang Bang! ‘Nuff said.

Welterweight

Santiago Ponzinibbio (+102)

Record: 28-5 (10-4 UFC)

Wins: 14 KO, 6 SUB | Losses: 3 KO

Props: Over 2.5 rounds (-182); Wins ITD (+317), by decision (+231), by TKO (+361), by submission (+1500)

Michel Pereira (-125)

Record: 27-11 (5-2 UFC)

Wins: 10 KO, 6 SUB | Losses: 1 KO, 1 SUB

Props: Under 2.5 rounds (+142); Wins ITD (+288), by decision (+187), by TKO (+348), by submission (+1040)

Best Value: Santiago Ponzinibbio (+102)
Pereira may have the better highlight reel, but Ponzibbio is the more technical boxer with a higher output. That can usually win you a fight.

Bantamweight

Holly Holm (-246)

Record: 14-5 (7-5 UFC)

Wins: 8 KO | Losses: 1 KO, 1 SUB

Props: Over 4.5 rounds (-260); Wins ITD (+328), by decision (-115), by TKO (+372), by submission (+2143)

Ketlen Vieira (+198)

Record: 12-2 (6-2 UFC)

Wins: 2 KO, 4 SUB | Losses: 1 KO

Props: Under 4.5 rounds (+198); Wins ITD (+522), by decision (+361), by TKO (+1233), by submission (+785)

Best Value: Holm decision (-115)
If the kickboxer keeps this on the feet, she can point her way to a win.
