UFC Fight Night: Rozenstruik vs. Sakai Full Fight Results

After a week away, the UFC returned with a bang as Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Marcin Tybura scored first-round knockouts at UFC Vegas 28 on Saturday, June 5, at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

With just one second left before the first-round bell, Rozenstruik forced a stoppage against Augusto Sakai in the heavyweight main event to insert himself back in the mix with heavyweight contenders. Tybura flipped the tables on Walt Harris and picked up a first-round TKO victory via ground and pound.

Down the card, Santiago Ponzinibbio narrowly edged Miguel Baeza in bout that immediately established itself as a fight of the year candidate. The card was just 13 fights after Tom Breese and Antonio Arroyo’s bout was scrapped for medical reasons. Mason Jones’ dominating performance against Alan Patrick was stopped short and ruled a no contest because of an accidental eye poke.

The time away did Craig some good with predictions, as he went 9-3 to Matt’s 7-5. In the season standings, Matt still leads Craig by seven.
