UFC 263: Adesanya vs. Vettori 2 Full Card Betting Guide

Another 14-fight card should make gamblers plenty happy. UFC 263, headlined by a trio of five-round bouts, is set for Saturday, June 12, at the Gila River Arena in Arizona.

At the top of the card is Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori for the middleweight strap and Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno for the flyweight belt. Nate Diaz and Leon Edwards square off in a five-round non-title fight.

The pay-per-view card is set to begin at 10 p.m. ET with the ESPN prelims starting at 6 p.m. ET. For full preview, prediction and analysis, check out the full card preview. Also tune into Question Mark Kicks two hours before the card begins.

Best Bets

Pannie Kianzad (-205) — If Kianzad can avoid the Alexis Davis takedown, she should have her way on the feet particularly if she can get in a rhythm early.

Belal Muhammad (-227) — The striking ability paired with his wrestling, particularly defensive wrestling, gives a clear path to victory over Demian Maia. You still have to watch out for the Maia submission (+392), but this fight seems fairly clear cut.

Deiveson Figueiredo (-218) — The weight cut worries me a bit with Figueiredo, but the flyweight limit is always difficult to make for the Brazilian fighter. The fact is he has so much power paired with an insanely high level of grappling and that’s going to be very difficult for Brandon Moreno to overcome.

Pop and Popcorn Fights

Carlos Felipe (-174) vs. Jake Collier (+144) — My favorite pick in this fight is the over 2.5 rounds, but at -175 odds it’s not worth betting. The bold may lean with the underdog in Collier, but if you keep this off your card and enjoy what should be at least an entertaining scrap, I wouldn’t blame you.

Hakeem Dawodu (+187) vs. Movsar Evloev (-230) — It should be a very entertaining bout with a little bit of everything for MMA fans. Evloev should get the better of the scrambles, but if Dawodu can keep things standing, he could have some success.

Eryk Anders (-151) vs. Darren Stewart (+125) — While Anders was having success in their first fight before an illegal knee ended the fight, “The Dentist” is still a dangerous opponent. It’s tough to say how much each fighter learned in the brief time together in the Octagon, so best to leave this one off the card.

Underdogs to Consider

Luigi Vendramini (+109) — “The Italian Stallion” opened as a favorite and probably should have stayed there. Instead you can get Vendramini at plus odds over Fares Ziam and that feels like great value.

Lauren Murphy (+119) — Lucky’s smothering style could present big problems for Joanne Calderwood, who needs to get into the clinch and go to work. The value here is tremendous on Fight Night Picks’ female fighter of 2020.

Brad Riddell (+123) — Riddell’s speed and technical striking paired with a strong chin make him a very difficult matchup against the heavy-handed Drew Dober.

Intriguing Props

Chase Hooper by submission (+234) — I like this bet a lot more after Steven Peterson missed weight. If “The Dream” is going to win, it’s going to be finding his way into a submission.

Leon Edwards by knockout (+106) — The odds are preposterous on a Leon Edwards victory, but are awfully interesting at an Edwards knockout. Nate Diaz has a ton of scar tissue and an early cut could lead to another doctor stoppage if Edwards can continue to pile on the strikes.

Israel Adesanya by knockout (+181) — It’s always difficult to tell how much the pre-fight hype and trash talk plays into a bout, but it’s clear Marvin Vettori and Adesanya don’t care for each other. Additionally, Adesanya is looking to regain some of his luster after losing to Jan Blachowicz at light heavyweight. If The Last Stylebender picks up a knockout on as big a stage as UFC 263 is shaping up to be, that will endear him to fight fans once again.

Parlay of the Night

Matt Frevola (-227), Lauren Murphy (+119), Jamahal Hill (-298), Leon Edwards (-565)+396
