UFC 265: Lewis vs. Gane Full Fight Results

Ciryl Gane set up a heavyweight title shot with fellow Frenchman and heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou to unify the interim belt won by “Bon Gamin” Saturday night at UFC 265 in Houston. Gane put on a stellar performance in knocking out the hometown favorite Derrick Lewis in the third round to capture the interim belt.

The night was a thrill from start to finish, as seven of the 13 fights ended in finishes with some of the best bouts going all the way to the scorecards. Legend Jose Aldo put on one of his best performances ever in beating Pedro Munhoz pillar to post in a unanimous decision. Vicente Luque submitted Michael Chiesa with a d’arce choke in the welterweight division to catch Kamarau Usman’s attention.

The UFC rewarded a stellar night of fights with six performance bonuses including a fight of the night bout between bantamweights Rafael Fiziev and Bobby Green.

Fight fans get a week off to recover from the action, before fights return for UFC Vegas 34, headlined by Jared Cannonier and Kelvin Gastelum.
