Fight Previews

Women’s Featherweight

Joselyne Edwards (-165)

Record: 10-4 (1-2 UFC)

Wins: 5 KO, 3 SUB | Losses: 1 SUB

Props: Over 2.5 rounds (-216); Wins ITD (+299), by decision (+138), by TKO (+500), by submission (+603)

Ramona Pascual (+137)

Record: 6-3 (0-1 UFC)

Props: Under 2.5 rounds (+172); Wins ITD (+401), by decision (+298), by TKO (+675), by submission (+773)

Best Value: Over 2.5 rounds (-216)
This being at featherweight makes no sense, but if you’re crazy enough to bet on this fight, the over is likely to hit and the odds aren’t terribly juiced.

Women’s Strawweight

Liang Na (+123)

Record: 19-5 (0-1 UFC)

Wins: 6 KO, 11 SUB | Losses: 2 KO, 2 SUB

Props: Over 1.5 rounds (-125); Wins ITD (+145), by decision (+900), by TKO (+650), by submission (+200)

Silvana Gomez Juarez (-149)

Record: 10-4 (0-2 UFC)

Props: Under 1.5 rounds (-105); Wins ITD (+188), by decision (+263), by TKO (+275), by submission (+700)

Best Value: Na submission (+200)
Can Juarez make it a trifecta of armbar losses to start (and end) her UFC tenure?

Bantamweight

Kyung Ho Kang (+115)

Record: 17-9 (6-3 UFC)

Wins: 2 KO, 11 SUB | Losses: 1 KO, 1 SUB

Props: n/a

Batgerel Danaa (-139)

Wins: 7 KO, 3 SUB | Losses: 1 KO

Props: Wins ITD (+175), by decision (+275), by TKO (+188), by submission (+1800)

Best Value: Kyung Ho Kang (+115)
The quick turnaround from a knockout to take a short notice fight is highly concerning for Batgerel.

Welterweight

Andre Fialho (-148)

Record: 16-4 (2-1 UFC)

Wins: 13 KO, 1 SUB | Losses: 2 KO

Props: Over 2.5 rounds (+102); Wins ITD (+109), by decision (+494), by TKO (+114), by submission (+1550)

Jake Matthews (+122)

Props: Under 2.5 rounds (-131); Wins ITD (+436), by decision (+226), by TKO (+1114), by submission (+563)

Best Value: Fialho TKO (+114)
Matthews isn’t known for an iron chin, and Fialho is a bad man standing up.

Lightweight

Hayisaer Maheshate (+146)

Record: 6-1 (UFC debut)

Wins: 3 KO | Losses: 1 DEC

Props: Over 2.5 rounds (+135); Wins ITD (+252), by decision (+474), by TKO (+253), by submission (+2283)

Steve Garcia (-177)

Record: 12-4 (1-1 UFC)

Wins: 9 KO | Losses: 1 SUB

Props: Under 2.5 rounds (-171); Wins ITD (+122), by decision (+368), by TKO (+217), by submission (+412)

Best Value: Steve Garcia (-177)
There might be a home canvas advantage for Maheshate, but this is a tough debut for the 22-year-old.

Featherweight

Seung Woo Choi (-241)

Record: 10-4 (3-3 UFC)

Wins: 6 KO | Losses: 1 KO, 2 SUB

Props: Over 2.5 rounds (-132); Wins ITD (+151), by decision (+183), by TKO (+156), by submission (+1663)

Josh Culibao (+194)

Record: 9-1-1 (1-1-1 UFC)

Wins: 5 KO | Losses: 1 KO

Props: Under 2.5 rounds (+103); Wins ITD (+456), by decision (+406), by TKO (+586), by submission (+1333)

Best Value: Josh Culibao (+194)
There’s probably some value in the underdog, but this is pop-and-popcorn all the way.

Middleweight

Brendan Allen (-312)

Record: 18-5 (6-2 UFC)

Wins: 5 KO, 10 SUB | Losses: 2 KO, 1 SUB

Props: Over 2.5 rounds (+118); Wins ITD (-101), by decision (+248), by TKO (+319), by submission (+183)

Jacob Malkoun (+246)

Record: 6-1 (2-1 UFC)

Wins: 2 KO | Losses: 1 KO

Props: Under 2.5 rounds (-152); Wins ITD (+346), by decision (+700), by TKO (+636), by submission (+756)

Best Value: Allen ITD (-101)
Take Allen straight up or by whatever prop you want. This will be one-way traffic.

Welterweight

Jack Della Maddalena (-158)

Record: 11-2 (1-0 UFC)

Wins: 9 KO, 1 SUB | Losses: 1 KO, 1 SUB

Props: Over 2.5 rounds (-213); Wins ITD (+247), by decision (+175), by TKO (+278), by submission (+1383)

Ramazan Emeev (+132)

Record: 20-5 (5-2 UFC)

Wins: 3 KO, 7 SUB | Losses: 1 KO, 1 SUB

Props: Under 2.5 rounds (+165); Wins ITD (+507), by decision (+221), by TKO (+1063), by submission (+741)

Best Value: Ramazan Emeev (+132)
This matchup seems perfectly set up for Emeev to implement his style and take the fight to the scorecards.

Flyweight

Rogerio Bontorin (+186)

Record: 17-4 (3-3 UFC)

Wins: 3 KO, 11 SUB | Losses: 1 KO, 1 SUB

Props: Over 2.5 rounds (+112); Wins ITD (+335), by decision (+535), by TKO (+863), by submission (+491)

Manel Kape (-231)

Record: 17-6 (2-2 UFC)

Wins: 11 KO, 5 SUB | Losses: 2 SUB

Props: Under 2.5 rounds (-144); Wins ITD (+118), by decision (+250), by TKO (+127), by submission (+1344)

Best Value: Rogerio Bontorin (+186)
These odds provide ridiculously good value on the underdog. If Bontorin can make this fight chaotic, he’s going to thrive.

Women’s Strawweight

Zhang Weili (-172)

Record: 21-3 (5-2 UFC)

Wins: 10 KO, 7 SUB | Losses: 1 KO

Props: Over 2.5 rounds (-278); Wins ITD (+293), by decision (+144), by TKO (+363), by submission (+1163)

Joanna Jedrzejczyk (+143)

Record: 16-4 (10-4 UFC)

Wins: 4 KO, 1 SUB | Losses: 1 KO

Props: Under 2.5 rounds (+211); Wins ITD (+650), by decision (+199), by TKO (+716), by submission (+2711)

Best Value: Zhang Weili (-172)
I’ll take the young, hungry fighter over the 34-year-old who hasn’t fought in two years.

Women’s Flyweight Championship

Valentina Shevchenko (-655)

Record: 22-3 (11-2 UFC)

Wins: 8 KO, 7 SUB | Losses: 1 KO

Props: Over 4.5 rounds (-133); Wins ITD (+126), by decision (+103), by TKO (+199), by submission (+478)

Taila Santos (+455)

Record: 19-1 (4-1 UFC)

Wins: 10 KO, 3 SUB | Losses: 1 DEC

Props: Under 4.5 rounds (+105); Wins ITD (+793), by decision (+1040), by TKO (+1419), by submission (+1479)

Best Value: Shevchenko TKO (+199)
Santos has a lot of skills to like, I just think she lacks the experience against elite fighters to compete with Shevchenko.

Light Heavyweight Championship

Glover Teixeira (+167)

Record: 33-7 (16-5 UFC)

Wins: 17 KO, 11 SUB | Losses: 3 KO

Props: Over 1.5 rounds (-134); Wins ITD (+248), by decision (+665), by TKO (+794), by submission (+356)

Jiri Prochazka (-204)

Record: 28-3-1 (2-0 UFC)

Wins: 25 KO, 2 SUB | Losses: 2 KO, 1 SUB

Props: Under 1.5 rounds (+106); Wins ITD (-154), by decision (+717), by TKO (-138), by submission (+2056)

Best Value: Teixeira submission (+356)
If Prochazka can’t finish this fight early, Teixeira will probably finish it in the third or fourth. This is going to be an electric fight and there’s definitely some value in the veteran.
