KSW continues to add to an already stacked card at KSW 45 set for October 6, 2018 at Wembley Arena in London as (3-3) Polish rapper Popek Monster is set to take on (1-0) bodybuilder and social media star Erko Jun.

Popek joined KSW in late 2016 after an eight year layoff from mixed martial arts, and has amassed a record of 1-2 with fights against bodybuilder and 5-time “World’s Strongest Man” (12-6, 1 NC) Mariusz Pudzianowski, as well as bodybuilder (2-1) Robert Burneika and Polish action star (1-1) Tomasz Oswiecinski. Since Popek’s last fight at KSW 41 last December, he’s gone on to the later rounds of Poland’s “Dancing with the Stars” and looks to avenge the loss to Oswiecinski against the man who was able to beat “Strachu” at KSW 44 in June.

He was featured on Belgium’s Got Talent and also has tried his hand at rapping with Dzidza. Jun began training in MMA after running into fellow countryman (13-3) Roberto Soldic and the pair train at one of Germany’s UFC gym which has hosted such talent as: David Zawada, Antun Racic and the UFC’s Hector Lombard.

KSW 45 features a stacked lineup, including a heavyweight title fight between champ (15-6) Phil De Fries and Polish standout (15-3) Karol Bedorf, welterweight title reatch between champ (12-1) Dricus Du Plessis and (13-3) Roberto Soldic, and a four-man middleweight tournament including former KSW middleweight champ (26-6) Michal Materla, Polish Olympic bronze medalist (3-0) Damian Janikowski, UFC vet and former BAMMA middleweight champ (16-4) Scott Askham, and Polish star on a 9-1 streak (11-5) Marcin “The Giant” Wojcik.
