UFC Fight Night: Makhachev vs. Green Full Card Betting Guide
It’s Bobby Green time again! After just a couple weeks off, “King” Green finally gets a main event, stepping in on short notice to face headliner Islam Makhachev in a catchweight bout at 160 pounds to cap UFC Vegas 49 on Saturday, Feb. 26, at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
The 11-fight card starts at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN+. Four fighters make their UFC debuts and just three ranked fighters compete on the night.

Best Value: Victor Altamirano (+113)
You always take plus odds on a coin flip, and this is pretty much a coin flip.
Welterweight
Ramiz Brahimaj (-371)
Record: 9-4 (1-2 UFC)
Wins: 9 SUB | Losses: 1 KO
Props: Over 1.5 rounds (-145); Wins ITD (-146), by decision (+287), by TKO (+725), by submission (-113)
Micheal Gillmore (+287)

Wins: 3 KO | Losses: 1 KO, 3 SUB
Props: Under 1.5 rounds (+112); Wins ITD (+665), by decision (+533), by TKO (+779), by submission (+2671)
Best Value: Brahimaj submission (-113)
This stays far away from my card, but if you really like Brahimaj, he probably gets it done by submission.
Featherweight
Alejandro Perez (+199)
Record: 22-8-1 (8-3-1 UFC)
Wins: 8 KO, 7 SUB | Losses: 2 KO, 3 SUB
Props: Over 2.5 rounds (-162); Wins ITD (+488), by decision (+396), by TKO (+817), by submission (+907)
Jonathan Martinez (-247)
Record: 14-4 (5-3 UFC)
Wins: 7 KO, 2 SUB | Losses: 1 KO
Props: Under 2.5 rounds (+127); Wins ITD (+191), by decision (+132), by TKO (+251), by submission (+1068)
Best Value: Under 2.5 rounds (+127)
Honestly having a tough time finding a good value bet here. It’s a tough fight to predict, but the odds here aren’t bad considering both fighters are fairly hittable.
Lightweight
Terrance McKinney (+104)
Record: 11-3 (1-0 UFC)
Wins: 5 KO, 6 SUB | Losses: 2 KO, 1 SUB
Props: Over 1.5 rounds (-145); Wins ITD (+186), by decision (+467), by TKO (+237), by submission (+850)
Fares Ziam (-126)
Record: 12-3 (2-1 UFC)
Wins: 4 KO, 5 SUB | Losses: 2 SUB
Props: Under 1.5 rounds (+112); Wins ITD (+185), by decision (+297), by TKO (+252), by submission (+750)
Best Value: Terrance McKinney (+104)
I’m a little wary with McKinney coming off the knee injury he sustained in an electric seven-second UFC debut. But I’ll still happily take the kill-or-be-killed McKinney as a dog.
Women’s Featherweight
Josiane Nunes (-213)
Record: 8-1 (1-0 UFC)
Wins: 7 KO | Losses: 1 DEC
Props: Over 1.5 rounds (-138); Wins ITD (-117), by decision (+435), by TKO (-108), by submission (+1236)
Ramona Pascual (+173)
Record: 6-2 (UFC debut)
Wins: 4 KO, 1 SUB | Losses: 1 KO, 1 SUB
Props: Under 1.5 rounds (+106); Wins ITD (+454), by decision (+369), by TKO (+628), by submission (+1059)
Best Value: Nunes TKO (-108)
There’s few women in the UFC that have the power Nunes possesses. The big looping shots make her prone to fatigue, but that shouldn’t be a problem against the debutant.
Lightweight
Rongzhu (+179)
Record: 19-4 (1-1 UFC)
Wins: 12 KO, 5 SUB | Losses: 3 SUB
Props: Over 2.5 rounds (-156); Wins ITD (+448), by decision (+372), by TKO (+575), by submission (+1365)
Ignacio Bahamondes (-220)
Record: 12-4 (1-1 UFC)
Wins: 9 KO | Losses: 2 SUB
Props: Under 2.5 rounds (+122); Wins ITD (+182), by decision (+159), by TKO (+208), by submission (+1304)
Best Value: Rongzhu (+179)
I personally believe this is the best value on the card. Bahamondes is the favorite for good reason, but the well-rounded game of Rongzhu makes for a very tough out.
Middleweight
Gregory Rodrigues (-165)
Record: 11-3 (2-0 UFC)
Wins: 5 KO, 4 SUB | Losses: 2 KO
Props: Over 1.5 rounds (+103); Wins ITD (+104), by decision (+539), by TKO (+171), by submission (+391)
Armen Petrosyan (+137)
Record: 6-1 (UFC debut)
Wins: 6 KO | Losses: 1 KO
Props: Under 1.5 rounds (-133); Wins ITD (+186), by decision (+741), by TKO (+194), by submission (+2050)
Best Value: Gregory Rodrigues (-165)
I will take the experienced, well-rounded fighter over the exciting power puncher making his debut every day. This feels like phenomenal value
Lightweight
Arman Tsarukyan (-227)
Record: 17-2 (4-1 UFC)
Wins: 6 KO, 5 SUB | Losses: 1 KO
Props: Over 2.5 rounds (-101); Wins ITD (+163), by decision (+176), by TKO (+221), by submission (+766)
Joel Alvarez (+187)
Record: 19-2 (4-1 UFC)
Wins: 3 KO, 16 SUB | Losses: 1 KO
Props: Under 2.5 rounds (-127); Wins ITD (+272), by decision (+650), by TKO (+764), by submission (+423)
Best Value: Alvarez submission (+423)
Alvarez’s biggest struggle is on the scale. But even if he gets his pay docked for missing weight, your wallet remains full if the finisher goes out and does what he does best. Tsarukyan is a great fighter, and his wrestling is elite. But if he’s comfortable going to the canvas, that’s a lot of time for Alvarez to lock in a submission.
Women’s Flyweight
Ji Yeon Kim (-175)
Record: 9-4-2 (3-4 UFC)
Wins: 2 KO, 3 SUB | Losses: 4 DEC
Props: Over 2.5 rounds (-195); Wins ITD (+283), by decision (+136), by TKO (+511), by submission (+573)
Priscila Cachoeira (+147)
Record: 10-4 (2-4 UFC)
Wins: 6 KO | Losses: 2 SUB
Props: Under 2.5 rounds (+152); Wins ITD (+379), by decision (+313), by TKO (+431), by submission (+1698)
Best Value: Priscila Cachoeira (+147)
I think this fight is closer than the odds suggest, but I’m staying far away.
Middleweight
Misha Cirkunov (-121)
Record: 15-7 (6-5 UFC)
Wins: 4 KO, 9 SUB | Losses: 4 KO, 2 SUB
Props: Over 2.5 rounds (+110); Wins ITD (+153), by decision (+428), by TKO (+558), by submission (+228)
Wellington Turman (-101)
Record: 17-5 (2-3 UFC)
Wins: 4 KO, 7 SUB | Losses: 2 KO
Props: Under 2.5 rounds (-139); Wins ITD (+269), by decision (+279), by TKO (+440), by submission (+700)
Best Value: Misha Cirkunov (-121)
The value here is alright for Cirkunov. Is it the best on the card? Certainly not. But I’m more than willing to bet on someone as dangerous as Cirkunov against a middling UFC fighter in Turman.
Catchweight: 160 pounds
Islam Makhachev (-884)
Record: 21-1 (10-1 UFC)
Wins: 3 KO, 10 SUB | Losses: 1 KO
Props: Over 2.5 rounds (+101); Wins ITD (-223), by decision (+288), by TKO (+326), by submission (-114)
Bobby Green (+571)
Record: 29-12-1 (10-7-1 UFC)
Wins: 10 KO, 8 SUB | Losses: 2 KO, 2 SUB
Props: Under 2.5 rounds (-127); Wins ITD (+859), by decision (+1267), by TKO (+1007), by submission (+2838)
Best Value: Over 2.5 rounds (+101)
The last time Bobby Green was finished was in 2016 to Dustin Poirier. That span covers six losses. I fully expect Makhachev eventually finishes “King” Green, but he’s got plenty of time to do so. The last five-round fight for Makhachev, he finished Moises in round 4.
